PURPLE LEMONADE WITH HAPPINESS TEA ICE CUBES
A sugar-free, super delicious and refreshing, three ingredients lemonade recipe with Happiness Tea ice cubes to make the lemonade turn a beautiful purple colour.
Ingredients: 200ml strong brew Happiness tea (see here)
1 cup Agave powder
1 cup water
1 cup lemon juice (6-8 lemons)
6 cups sparkling mineral water
Method: Place 6-8 g of Happiness Tea in a pot, pour in 200ml boiling water and steep until cool.
Place into an extra-large ice cube tray with 6 cubes. Place in the freezer and freeze overnight.
Heat 1 cup of water in a saucepan and add the agave powder. Simmer and stir until all the agave is dissolved. Put this simple syrup into a jug or large vessel to chill in the fridge.
Juice enough lemons to make one cup. Add to syrup mix. Add sparkling mineral water. Chill the mix. Add 6 cups of sparkling mineral water.
To serve, place one ice cube in each glass and pour lemonade over the top. The lemonade will turn a beautiful purple colour as the ice cubes melt. Serves 6.
